Meet the Team

Founder

Kamina Singh

Kamina launched Human UPtions in 2017 to empower students and new graduates via storytelling by industry leaders and experts. This initiative came about from her own experience of never doing an internship or receiving sound career advice while in school. Prior to Human UPtions, she worked in business development and marketing at startups and established companies; she has a proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue generation.

Kamina has a BSc in Finance and an MBA in Marketing from St. John’s University.

Meg Crumbine

Meg has over 30 years of business experience in communications, technology, and media intelligence. She has held roles in executive management, marketing, and operations. Meg advises early-stage companies on growth strategy. She has served as a mentor to many young professionals over her career. Her greatest fulfillment has been found helping young men and women from underrepresented groups navigate their careers, learn networking skills, and elevating their professional presence.

Meg graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in English Literature.
